WOW, am I excited to share these beautiful flowers. I was walking around the local nursery looking for something unique to add to my garden and I stumbled upon these Dinner Plate Dahlias. They are low maintenance, require part shade in warm climates like mine, and attract all kinds of hummingbirds and bees to the garden. To care for these its simple: just deadhead the flowers at the bottom of the stem to promote new growth, and water regularly.

I think I may go back and get some yellow and pink Dahlias next.

What is your favorite kind of Dahlia?
