I wasn't sure what to expect when purchasing this tomato plant as a baby. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to pick the first ALMOST ripe tomato (it had been attacked by the red aphids and didn't look to appetizing with discolored spots on the outside). When I sliced it in half I was shocked to see that the outer skin is the only black part of the tomato and the center is still red. I am curious if as they ripen this will change.
